I live in Louisville, ky and Louisville is spread out like L.A., it's a metro city. The inner city, a lot of it is old and dangerous especially at night. To me it's not nice, I try my best to avoid it.

To someone coming here from the United States, they would say Toronto is a Utopia....and compared to many large American cities, it is.......but I grew up here and remember when my Uncle came up to visit and stopped at a Variety store to get some Cigarettes and left his car running with the keys in it.....and.....never locked his car overnight....that was in the 70's.
Up until 1980 it was fairly safe and innocent.....after that, it started going downhill.....again, in my opinion.
