Paths is losing members. And I'm not blaming anyone for that. But we lost amulet, GL, dooglas, belle and I'm sure others I can't think of at the moment. When you have a good site like this it always hurt when people who post a lot leave. Just my opinion.

It's going to happen Sir............for some reason American Politics has become a totally passionate obsession. As a Canadian, I'm watching from the sidelines. The problem many people feel is being made to feel "stupid" or inadequate because they don't share someone else's belief. It's very demeaning. The second problem is NOT fully reading and understanding what someone is writing.......sometimes you have to read it two or three times.....such as.....I'm not aware of ANYONE on this Forum that is or was a Biden Lover. Ever.........................YET>>>>>>>>if they don't love Trump, you automatically label them as Biden Lovers........there's a BIG difference. Anyways.....yes, this IS a great place and God Bless the people that run and nurture it....they have the patience of Job.

Lynx is absolutely correct, most of the people that deleted are libs. It's like they are presented with a counter argument that burst their bubble and they freak out. Unfortunately this place was not built to be an echo chamber and that triggers some weak minded people. |

Sydney even PM'd him on Eden's Gate and he refused the invitation. Nobody told GL or Belle to leave. They left because they couldn't stand to be disagreed with. There's nothing you can do with people like that. Maybe this just isn't the forum for them. As for Amulet and Lily, Don chased them off. |

I am still pretty new and not that active. Lynx may be right about US politics being a major reason they left. Admin knows more, one departee started a new board, etc. This board is big enough to lose 4 or 5 posters. Admin- here is a suggestion: eliminate some of the sub boards. There are 8 boards in "Politics". There should be only 1. Yes, only one Politics board. This would improve the user experience. Posters are more likely to get a like or a reply if there is only one board. Likewise with the rest of the sub boards in other topics. Combine boards and reduce their numbers. |
